Alright, after about two weeks of testing this chair, here’s my verdict.
But before I dive into that, let me share a bit about myself so you can visualize if this chair might be right for you.
I'm 6'3" and weigh around 210 lbs.
My gf describes my ass firm, and I’m generally seen as an active person. I tend to have bad posture when sitting. And I purchased the black model.
Now, with that out of the way, here’s my official review of the Autofill G7.
The chair is decent, but I expected more from it. For $530, you get what’s advertised: a chair with a 730° armrest, 4D headrest, and adjustable lumbar and head support that you can customize to your liking.
You can even tilt the chair back to 140°, pull out the leg rest, and just relax. I even spent a whole night sleeping in it to see if I'd experience any back aches in the morning, and surprisingly, I didn't! Although, I still prefer my bed for a good night's rest.
The assembly process can take up to 30 minutes, and some pieces can be frustrating to attach. The flimsy Allen wrench provided can be a hassle when screws keep falling off while attaching the headrest.
In terms of quality, it feels solid and not cheap. However, some design choices made by the engineers are questionable. For instance, the lever that adjusts the lumbar support and chair height is made of alloy with a polished chrome finish, which easily collects fingerprints and can accumulate grime over time. So, if you have cheeto hands, you might want to keep a box of Clorox wipes by you at all time.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the chair’s adjustability.
When I buy a chair, I want to sit down and get to work, not constantly fix the headrest or lumbar support to find the right comfort level. With relatives sitting on the chair and needing to readjust it constantly, it can get tedious.
Although I like the reclining feature, it lacks the ability to recline back to 105° like my old chair does.
You can recline to 105° on this chair, but you need to hold onto the lever as you do so, since you must lock the chair before reclining all the way back to 140°.
The armrests can rotate horizontally but adjusting their height involves pressing a latch made from the same material as the lever, which feels awkward.
One last note: even though I managed to sleep a full night in this chair when it was fully reclined, I can only sit comfortably in an upright position for about six hours before experiencing slight discomfort.
So, if you intend to sit for 10+ hours, this chair might not be for you.
I know I’ve rambled on, but here’s a quick summary of the pros and cons as of 07/10/2025:
Pros:
- Very comfortable when fully reclined
- Assembly is straightforward
- Material doesn’t feel cheap
- I’ve noticed a slight improvement in my posture since purchasing the chair
- The design has a nice gamer vibe
- The leg rest is comfortable
Cons:
- You may feel slight discomfort when sitting upright for long periods
- Some material choices are questionable, bordering on poor design
- Constant adjusting may be necessary to achieve your preferred comfort level
-tools that come with the chair sucks use your own tools for the assembly
I want to compare this chair with the Hbada E3 Pro and the Sihoo Pro, but I only have nine days left to return it, and those two chairs won't arrive until the 20th.
I'm giving this chair a 7.5/10

I bought the chair on Black Friday 2025. It arrived three weeks later on December 23rd, but it's not really their fault; the GLS courier in Italy is terrible.
I should start by saying that, unfortunately, I think chairs, mattresses, and seats are things that need to be tried first.
In fact, I had tried some Diablo and TitanEvo chairs and I liked them.
But given the reviews and the features, such as the lumbar support, the 4D (which doesn't even make sense) headrest, and the seat material, which is preferred over the classic fabric, I opted for this model.
I'm 1.65m tall, so the armrests are useless to adjust; they're always low. If I were shorter, they would have practically been annoying.
The lumbar and seat are the most annoying thing. I've been sitting on the chair for two days and my back pain is getting worse. Unbelievable.
Now, I basically have back pain, unfortunately, and it's not something I need to be helped by, but it doesn't mean I have to be tense all the time. I can't lean back against the basic backrest. Due to my bad posture, I have to lean towards the desk (perhaps a Stokke office chair would be better, perhaps where you're forced to sit upright for obvious reasons).
If you don't adjust the lumbar support, it pushes against you too much; it's not soft, perhaps because of the fabric.
Basically, it feels "all rigid." I tend to hunch my back, so I'm never completely supported. And if I do, I can obviously use the chair at all points, but the lumbar support pushes against me because it's not a cushion, obviously.
Also, the demonstration videos are obscene; they talk about adjusting the lumbar support too fast, but I think I have to use other keys, not theirs.
Maybe the M6 Series was better; I avoided it because of the leatherette fabric.

Hey so I ended up getting it off of Amazon - I haven’t used it a lot yet, but first impressions: putting it together was a pain and a half. Took me like an hour, with 30 minutes of that being trying to screw in the headrest. Turns out they gave me the wrong screws. So I need to go to Home Depot tomorrow and try to find some that fit. Also, it’s a vanity thing, but for $600-$900 I’d say it’s warranted, the screws aren’t painted to match like they show.
I got the black and purple seat and the screws were metallic. They’re mostly hidden, so it doesn’t matter too much, just not what they show in marketing. But the materials are all high quality - metal base, plastic wheels but soft, plastic arm rests but they feel solid and have no give. They’re also pretty soft.
But anyway, sitting in the chair. I’ll be able to speak better this Friday when I work from home, but just sitting in it a bit and adjusting things: The seat is pretty comfy - I was worried since I have a herman miller Aeron at work and that thing is as hard as a rock haha. It’s soft and has just enough cushion that I find it comfortable. So many adjustment features - love the sliding seat bottom. The lumbar support is a bit finicky, but I’m sure once I play around with it it’ll be good.
Reclining is really comfy too. Once I screw in the headrest and spend a whole day in it I’ll have a better opinion, but right now, frustration from the build aside, I’m cautiously optimistic that this chair will be a winner.
Definitely would buy from a third party though - I don’t trust any retail shop that makes you send in a bank statement, even if that is a random one-in-however-many thing.
